RETURNS POLICY

RETURN POLICY:

 

  • For any return, items need to be returned within 10 days of receiving them. No exceptions will be made to this return policy for any reason, including illness, travel delays, or late gift-giving. Returns received after this time will be rejected, and the client will need to arrange for their courier to collect them from us.
  • Your items must be in their original condition, with tags attached, unworn, unwashed, unstained, and without perfumes, just like when you received them. If items are returned in damaged packaging, not neatly folded, or in other plastic bags, a fee of R50 per item will be deducted. Please do not tear open the bag.
  • Refunds are given as store credit only.
  • Once we receive the returned item(s), we’ll issue a store credit for the purchase price (excluding delivery charges) within 2-3 working days in the form of a discount code/store credit. Please note that a store credit for an exchange can only be issued once. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a "buy and try" service. The initial exchange is covered by us, as our clothes are not stocked locally and we sell the returned item under costs.
  • Please note that any return or exchange will result in forfeiting the discount applied to the original order, no discount will be reissued with the store credit.
  • Please note that courier fees are not refundable.
  • To cover costs and handling fees of returns: 15% admin fee will be deducted for returns over R1500
  • The client is responsible for arranging the courier for the returned item(s). Alternatively, we can arrange the courier for you for a fee of R120. Please let us know within 5 working days if you would like Dainty Dot Wear to arrange the courier. Payment for the courier via EFT will be accepted.

  • Refunds are permitted for the following only:
    • Defective products, such as damaged items. Defects do not include size adjustments or slight variations in color or pattern as depicted on the website. Please provide photographs and notify Dainty Dot Wear at info@ddwear.co.za or 072 706 2362 within 3 days of receiving a defective item.
  • Please allow for slight color differences which may occur due to lighting, particularly with white and bright colors. Additionally, please note that the photos used are directly from our suppliers and not taken by us.

Other Information:

  • Dainty Dot Wear does not stock bulk inventory; instead, your items are ordered from our overseas Factory/Supplier upon your order placement. We do not try on or inspect every item. Dainty Dot Wear is not involved in the design or manufacturing of any item. Stock levels can fluctuate daily, and it's possible that items or sizes may run out of stock by the time you place your order. If this occurs, Dainty Dot Wear will offer you the choice of a refund or store credit. We will notify you within 5 working days if an item is out of stock and we are unable to fulfill your order.
  • Due to customs and border control procedures, imported items may undergo inspection, which can delay our delivery time of 10-17 working days. Customs clearance may take an additional 20 working days. Dainty Dot Wear is not liable for these delays and does not offer refunds for late delivery beyond what is outlined in our refund policy.
  • Cancellation of a finalized order will result in a 50% handling fee.
  • Dainty Dot Wear reserves the right to refuse refunds for "Buyer’s Remorse" or "Change of Heart." Cancellations due to not realizing our turnaround time of 15-17 working days are considered "Change of Heart" and will incur a 50% handling fee for cancellation.

 

Information on Couriers:

  • Dainty Dot Wear is not liable for lost or damaged goods by third-party delivery services (such as Couriers), though we strive for swift and reliable delivery.
  • We are not responsible for incorrect delivery addresses or contact details provided by the client.
  • Returned parcels due to the courier company's inability to reach the client are the client's responsibility.
  • Courier companies operate during business hours (8am-5pm). Please ensure someone is available to receive the parcel. After two unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel will be returned, requiring a new delivery fee.
  • If a package is returned to Dainty Dot Wear due to courier company's failure to reach you, the client must arrange a new pickup and cover associated costs.
  • No refunds or store credit will be issued for returned parcels. Dainty Dot Wear provides a tracking number for the courier company and marks the status as "COMPLETE". It is the client's responsibility to ensure timely receipt of the parcel (within 1-3 working days after the tracking number is provided).
