Where is your store?

Dainty Dot Wear is mostly an online store and all orders can be placed on www.ddwear.co.za. You will receive your order via our courier company (The Courier Guy).

Our small physical store is in Centurion at Passi Decor & Gifts. C/O  Glover & Lenchen Ave North, Lyttelton Manor, Centurion. (Gate is in Lenchen)

Do you have everything that is on your website at your store?

No, it would be impossible for us to keep 2000+ items in stock in over 5 size and colours each.

We do keep limited stock at our physical store.

How to place an order?

6. Upon receipt of payment we will courier you items to you

It has been longer than 24 hours and I have not yet received my invoice?

Please look in your junk mail folder as emails often go there instead of to your inbox. When placing your order you would have immediately received a copy of your order and an order number. Please email your order number to dorette@ddwear.co.za so that we can look into it for you.

How long does it take to receive my parcel?

Once payment is cleared we place the order.

Our Warehouse is International based and all orders takes between 10-20 days (working days, excluding weekends and Public Holidays)). We take 1-2 days to process all orders once we receive them from the warehouse and courier it via Courier Guy straight to you (2-4 Working days). Delivery time does not include processing time.  In some cases, due to the nature of the online store, overselling may occur and the item may be out of stock. You will be notified via Email where you can choose another item of the same value or ask for store credit or refund. Please note that once the shipment leaves the factory it is in the hands of courier companies and customs. There might be delays at times due to customs and or the courier company or global pandemics such as Covid-19. But we are trying our best to get shipments here as fast as possible and on time. If Dainty Dot Wear is responsible for sending damaged items/incorrect item/size that was ordered by the client, pick up and return delivery costs are covered by Dainty Dot Wear as per our return policy. Dainty Dot Wear takes no responsibility for returned packages with incorrectly provided addresses. Should a package return – customer can opt for a refund less delivery fee, or to pay an additional delivery fee for a re-delivery

Covid-19 restrictions might also cause delays with shipments.

We use The Courier Guy for all our national shipping.

Please feel free to mail us if you have not heard from us and want to enquire about your shipment if we are past the 2-4 weeks, but we will also keep you updated if there are any delays.

For Wanderlust Leather products/shoes:  All orders are hand made and take between 15 -20 working days to complete and they try their best to stick to these standards. This is locally manufactured.

Do you allow for exchanges/refunds?

Return/Exchange Policy:

Our return policy is a guideline. We encourage a customer centric approach where we deal with each query individually, keeping the interest of the customer in mind.

Within 7 (seven) days of your order being delivered to your door or to your nearest post office, you can exchange the product(s) you ordered for a different size of the exact same product as long as the preferred size being requested is available at our factory.

  • Should you wish to process an exchange please email to dorette@ddwear.co.za (Subject Line: Your order number – Request Exchange).
  • A return form MUST be included in your parcel.  We will email you a return form as soon as we receive your exchange email.
  • You will need to cover the cost of return postage.
    Your items will need to be in their original condition, with tags attached, unworn/unwashed, unstained and free from perfumes.
  • No exchanges will be issued on sale items, gift card, clearance items.
    The purchase price (excluding delivery charges) will be refunded or credited to you once we have received the returned item/s back and confirmed that it meets conditions above, so make sure you post it back to us in good time.
  • If you choose a credit you will receive an email with a DISCOUNT CODE which you can then use with your next purchase
  • We will not exchange any product after this period.

If purchasing swimwear, please pay attention to the size details and sizing chart to avoid purchasing the wrong size. We do not accept return on swimwear or lingerie- NON-NEGOTIABLE.

If funds have already been paid by the client all bank charges for the application of the refund will be incurred by the client.

Dainty Dot Wear will not be held responsible for lost or damaged goods by any 3rd party delivery services (Couriers and/or South-African Post Office), although every effort will be given to ensure the fastest and best delivery for the chosen method. Deliveries outside Pretoria and Johannesburg will be sent via The Courier Guy; thus, delivery times may vary.

Returned products are inspected by us and will be replaced if the damage is the result of a manufacturing defect or deviation from factory specifications. If you would like to exchange your product we will gladly do so, courier cost will be incurred by the client. Our liability is limited to replacement of defective product.

We’ll replace your Dainty Dot wear product with the same style or substitute a replacement of comparable value if the style returned is no longer available. No cash exchange will be accepted. If the problem was caused by reasons other than materials quality or assembly process, the original merchandise is returned to you. If funds have already been paid by the client, all bank charges for the application of the refund will be incurred by the client.

We do not replace merchandise if it is not returned in a satisfactory order. Any item you return needs to be eligible to be put back on our shelves and later sent to another customer. For this, the item must be in a perfect condition, which means that the item must include it’s protective shields on swimsuit bottoms with all tags in place – the item must not have been worn at any time. Products damaged by normal wear and tear will not be replaced.

You will need to cover the cost of return postage.

In order to qualify for return and/or exchange, the product must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Your items will need to be in their original condition, with tags attached, unworn/unwashed, unstained and free from perfumes.
  • No exchanges will be issued on sale items.
  • In rare cases where Dainty Dot Wear has sent the incorrect garment, the garment may not be used.  No returns will be accepted once an item is worn even though we sent the incorrect item.  Dispatch of incorrect items will be treated as a normal exchange policy.
  • If Dainty Dot Wear is responsible for sending damaged items/incorrect item/size that was ordered by the client, pick up and return delivery costs are covered by Dainty Dot Wear as per our return policy.

You can either send the item back to Dainty Dot Wear or contact them directly.

Please note that the do not exchange for wear and tear.

 

Delivery Details

Dainty Dot Wear make use of Door to Door courier via The Courier Guy.

All orders will be processed after payment is cleared.

All Clothing delivery is from our INTERNATIONAL warehouse. Delivery will take anywhere from 10-20 days (working days) (Weekends and public holidays excluded). It might be earlier depending on the amount of orders we receive during that week. As our business grows over time , we will be able to commit to less delivery time, but we need your help to do so 😊

Leather products is supplied by Local Manufacturer Wanderlust Leather Co. As soon as payment is cleared your order will be given through to the warehouse. All orders are handmade and take between 15 working days to complete and they try their best to stick to these standards. Dainty Dot Wear will courier the items which will take 2-4 working days depending on the area.

SILLY SEASON:  Please be willing to wait the maximum delivery time 4 weeks. It might be sooner, but please be patient during this season.

In the case where clothing is ordered with shoes and sale items delivery will be combined and delivered all at the same time. Should you want to separate the items bought you may contact us and we can arrange additional courier cost which will be paid by the customer.

In some cases, due to the nature of the online store, overselling may occur and the item may be out of stock.  We will send you an email and you can choose another item of the same value or ask for a credit/refund.

Please take note on rare occasions there may be a slight delay due to custom clearance or warehouse delays.  Delivery time does not include processing time.

Customer satisfaction is our top priority.  If your parcel gets lost or doesn’t get delivered within 4 weeks (working days) a refund can be requested.  Unfortunately, shipping cost CAN NOT be refunded.

Dainty Dot Wear takes no responsibility for returned packages with incorrectly provided addresses. Should a package return – customer will have to pay an additional delivery fee for a re-delivery.

Delivery times do not include Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays.

Delivery go out Monday through Friday, not including public holidays.

Orders with incorrect billing information, or requiring additional verification, will be delayed.

In the case of returned delivery, the customer is responsible for any and all additional fees incurred for delivery.

Refunds on order not delivered
